# Vehicle Downtime Reporting & Tracking
Track and report on vehicle downtime with the new Vehicle Received for Service field when creating a Work Order. EKOS now allows you to measure how long vehicles remain out of service for maintenance, helping you identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and keep your fleet operating efficiently.

## Two New Fleet Reports Available
1. **VEHICLE DOWNTIME REPORT**: Provides a high-level summary of total downtime hours by vehicle and department. Quickly see which assets have been out of service the longest so you can identify high-impact vehicles and overall downtime trends.
2. **VEHICLE DOWNTIME DETAIL REPORT**: Provides a detailed breakdown of downtime by vehicle and work order, showing when each vehicle was received, completed, and how long it was out of service for each repair or service.
Filter reports by department and export them as PDF or CSV files. Automate delivery to multiple contacts at your preferred frequency, ensuring your team stays updated without the manual effort.
## How To Get Started
- When creating a work order, enter the Vehicle Received for Service date and time. This should reflect when the vehicle was dropped off for maintenance.
- When the work order is completed, enter the Completed date and time as usual.
- To access the report, go to the Report Portal and run either the Vehicle Downtime Report or Vehicle Downtime Detail Report
