## Overview

The **Part Usage Detail Report** is the deep-dive companion to the Part Usage Report. Where Part Usage gives you the ranked summary, Detail shows you the actual line items — every part, on every work order, in your date range, with the context around how it was used.

It's the report you pull when "we used 300 of these" isn't enough and you need to see exactly where they went.

## How to Get Started

From the **Report Portal**, run the **Part Usage Detail Report**. Pick your date range, apply filters if needed, and export.

## What the Report Shows

For the date range you select, the report breaks down part consumption at the line-item level:

- Part number and description
- Quantity used on each individual transaction
- Associated work order, asset, and date
- Additional context that ties each use back to the job it was part of

Because it's transaction-level detail, the report can run long — but it's the right level of granularity when you need to investigate a specific trend or audit usage patterns.

## Filtering and Exporting

From the Report Portal, you can:

- **Filter by date range** to scope the report to a specific period.
- **Export as PDF** for a detailed, printable record.
- **Export as CSV** when you want to pivot, sort, or filter the data in Excel for analysis.

## Automating Delivery

If parts or finance teams need detailed usage records regularly, use the schedule icon on the report card to automate delivery — pick the frequency and recipients, and EKOS takes care of the rest.
