## Overview

The **Distance Driven Report** answers a simple but important question: how many miles did each of your vehicles put on the odometer during a given window? It's the baseline data behind cost-per-mile analysis, utilization studies, PM scheduling, and just about any conversation that starts with "which trucks are working the hardest?"

For any date range you pick, the report lists every active vehicle and the miles it drove, grouped by department so you can see how fleet usage is distributed across the organization.

## How to Get Started

From the **Report Portal**, run the **Distance Driven Report**. Pick your date range, filter by department if needed, and export.

## What the Report Shows

For each active vehicle in the date range, the report shows:

- Vehicle identification (asset number, license, or marking)
- Department assignment
- Miles driven during the date range

Vehicles are grouped by department, so you can compare usage across teams at a glance — and spot trucks that are getting run hard or sitting idle.

## Filtering and Exporting

From the Report Portal, you can:

- **Filter by date range** to pull miles for any period — a week, a month, a full year.
- **Filter by department** to focus on a specific team.
- **Export as PDF** for a clean summary.
- **Export as CSV** for utilization analysis in Excel or another tool.

## Automating Delivery

For teams tracking utilization regularly, use the schedule icon on the report card to set up recurring delivery. Pick a frequency, choose recipients, and EKOS takes care of the rest.
