## Overview

The **Last Meter Reading Report** gives you a snapshot of the most recent odometer or hour-meter reading on every active vehicle in your fleet. It's the quick pulse-check that tells you which vehicles have fresh readings, which ones haven't been updated in a while, and where you might have gaps in your utilization or PM data.

Because PM scheduling, cost-per-mile calculations, and utilization reporting all depend on accurate meter readings, this report is a simple way to keep that data honest.

## How to Get Started

From the **Report Portal**, run the **Last Meter Reading Report**. Filter by department if you only need a slice, and export.

## What the Report Shows

For every active vehicle, the report displays:

- Vehicle identification (asset number, license, or marking)
- Department assignment
- Most recent meter reading and the date it was captured

Vehicles are grouped by department, so you can see at a glance where meter readings are up to date and where they're overdue for an update.

## Filtering and Exporting

From the Report Portal, you can:

- **Filter by department** to narrow the report to a specific team.
- **Export as PDF** for a printed summary or driver hand-out.
- **Export as CSV** when you want to analyze the data or flag vehicles with stale readings.

## Automating Delivery

If you want to track meter reading freshness on a regular cadence, use the schedule icon on the report card. Pick your frequency, choose recipients, and EKOS will send the report out automatically.
