## Why don’t I see the “Part Kits” button on a work order?

The Part Kits button only appears when:

- A vehicle is selected on the work order
- That vehicle has at least one Part Kit assigned

If you do not see the button:

1. Confirm a vehicle is selected in step 1.
2. Check the vehicle view page for that vehicle to ensure it has part kits assigned to it.

---

## Parts didn’t auto-add when I selected a service item.

Auto-add only occurs when:

- A Part Kit is assigned to that service item.

To check:

1. Open the service item.
2. Go to the Part Kits section.
3. Confirm a kit is assigned.

If no kit is assigned, parts will not auto-populate.

---

## I updated a Part Kit. Does it affect existing work orders?

No, changes to a Part Kit only affect future use.

Existing work orders that already included the kit’s parts will not update automatically.

---

## Can I override quantities or costs on a work order?

Yes.

After parts are added (either manually or automatically), you can:

- Change the quantity
- Adjust the warehouse
- Update the unit cost
- Remove the line item

The Part Kit sets default values, but work orders remain editable and any edits made will only affect the current work order.

---

## Why is the quantity different than expected?

The quantity on the work order is pulled from the quantity defined in the Part Kit.

If the quantity is incorrect:

1. Edit the Part Kit and update the default quantity.
2. Or adjust the quantity directly on the work order.

---

## What happens if I delete a Part Kit?

- It is removed from vehicles and service items.
- It will no longer appear on work orders.
- Existing work orders that already used the kit remain unchanged.
