# Overview

The **PM Programs Grid** is where you can view, organize, and maintain all Preventive Maintenance Programs in your system.

This page gives you a full overview of every PM Program, the schedules inside each one, and the vehicles tied to them.

From here, you can:

- See all PM Programs
- Expand each program to view the schedules
- View a PM Program’s details
- Edit or delete a PM Program
- Add new PM Programs
- See assigned vehicles
- Unassign vehicles

# **Viewing All PM Programs**

In the main table, each row represents a PM Program you’ve created.

For each program you can:

- Click **Edit** to modify the program
- Click **View** to open the program detail page
- Expand the row (▼ arrow) to quickly see all schedules inside


In the screenshot, expanding “Diesel Bus” shows:

- Oil Change
- Annual Inspection
- Tire Rotation


Each schedule shows its:

- Meter interval
- Due soon meter
- Time interval
- Due soon time

This helps you quickly confirm what each program contains without opening it fully.

# **Adding a New PM Program**


To create a new program:

1. Click the **Add Preventive Maintenance Program** button
2. Name the program
3. Add at least one schedule
4. Save

Once created, you can attach it to vehicles through the Asset View Page.

# **View a PM Program**

Click **View** on any program to open the full program detail page.

This page has two main sections:

**1. Schedules**

Shown on the left:

- Each schedule is displayed as a card with:
  - Meter intervals
  - Due soon meters
  - Time intervals
  - Due soon times

**2. Assigned Vehicles**

Shown on the right:

- Lists all vehicles currently using this PM Program
- Shows asset number, description, and status
- Includes an **Unassign / Deactivate** button for each vehicle


This is the easiest place to see exactly which assets are tied to the program.

# **How do I remove a vehicle from a PM Program?**

If you have previously assigned a vehicle to a PM Program and want to remove it:

1. From the PM Program Grid, view the PM Program
2. Go to the **Assigned Vehicles** section
3. Click **Deactivate** next to the vehicle you would like to unassign


You can also remove a PM Program directly from the vehicle view page.

To unassign a PM Program from a single vehicle:

1. Open the **Asset View Page** for that vehicle
2. Click the **PM Programs** tab in the left menu
3. You’ll see a list of all PM Programs currently attached to this vehicle
4. Click the **Detach** button next to the program you want to remove

This instantly removes the program from the vehicle.


**What happens next**

When a vehicle is unassigned:

- All reminders created by that program for that vehicle are **automatically cancelled**
- They disappear from the active reminder lists
- Past reminders remain in the [All Reminders Grid](https://myekos.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EHC1/pages/3310682130) for record keeping


This ensures the vehicle no longer receives maintenance reminders from this program.

# **How do I edit a PM Program?**


When viewing the PM Program Data Table, click the “Edit” button next to the program you would like to change.


When you edit the schedules inside a PM Program, EKOS automatically updates all reminders on every assigned vehicle.

**If you ADD a schedule:**

New reminders are created immediately for every vehicle assigned to that PM Program.


**If you REMOVE a schedule:**

Those reminders are cancelled for every vehicle assigned to that PM Program.


**If you CHANGE an interval:**

EKOS will track the new intervals for any associated reminders.

This keeps your fleet perfectly in sync with your maintenance standards.

# **How do I delete a PM Program?**


A PM Program **cannot be deleted** while any vehicles are still assigned to it.

- The **Delete PM Program** button is disabled until the assigned vehicles list is empty
- You must unassign every vehicle first
- Once all vehicles are unassigned, the delete button unlocks


This prevents accidental deletion of active maintenance plans.

# **When to Use the PM Programs Grid**


Use this page when you want to:

- Clean up old programs
- Add or revise maintenance intervals
- Quickly confirm what schedules exist in each program
- See which vehicles are assigned to which program
- Unassign or reorganize groups of vehicles
- Prepare to delete unused programs
- Audit or maintain PM data at a high level


It is the control center for making sure your Preventive Maintenance setup stays clean, accurate, and organized.
