# ATG Alarm Manager

The **ATG Alarm Manager** provides a centralized view of all Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) alarms across your sites. This tool helps you filter, monitor, and manage alarms by type, urgency, and compliance category, ensuring nothing critical is overlooked.

## Key Features

### 1. Date Range Filter

- Use the **date selector** to view alarms within a specific time frame.
- Click **Go** to refresh the page with alarms from the selected period.

### 2. Alarm Type View

At the top of the page, alarms are grouped into categories with counts for easy monitoring:

- **High, Medium, Low** – Alarms classified by urgency level.
- **Sensor Compliance & Leak** – Alarms related to sensor performance or potential leaks.
- **Tank Compliance & Leak** – Tank-level compliance and leak detection alarms.
- **System Setup** – Configuration or system-related alarms.

Each card shows the **total number of alarms** within that category.

### 3. Alarm Table

Below the summary cards, the table provides a detailed breakdown of individual alarms. Columns include:

- **Posted At** – Timestamp when the alarm was logged.
- **Site** – Location where the alarm occurred.
- **Monitor** – The specific monitor or device triggering the alarm.
- **Ekos Alarm Code** – System-generated reference code for the alarm.
- **Priority** – The assigned urgency level.
- **Reference Type** – Filter alarms by compliance, leak detection, or system setup.
- **State** – Current status of the alarm (e.g., Active, Cleared).
- **Description** – Details about the alarm.

> If no alarms match your filters, the table will display “No records found.”

### 4. Filters

- **All / Watched** – Toggle between viewing all alarms or only those you’ve marked as “Watched” for closer monitoring.
- **Reference Type Filter** – Narrow down alarms by compliance, leak, or system setup category.
- **State Filter** – Focus only on active alarms or include resolved ones.

### 5. Pagination & Display Controls

- Use the controls at the bottom to move between pages if multiple alarms are listed.
- Adjust the records-per-page setting (10, 25, 50, etc.) to customize your view.

## Best Practices

- **Monitor compliance alarms closely**: Sensor and tank compliance alarms may indicate regulatory issues if unresolved.
- **Review system setup alarms**: These often point to configuration errors that can prevent proper monitoring.
- **Use filters to save time**: Apply filters to focus only on the most relevant alarms for your role.
- **Mark watched alarms**: Track recurring or high-impact alarms by marking them for ongoing review.
