# Fuel Card Dashboard

The **Fuel Card Dashboard** provides a high-level overview of your organization’s fuel card usage and spending trends. Use this dashboard to track costs, monitor alerts, and analyze fueling behavior across vendors, products, and departments.

## Key Features

### 1. Date Filter

Select a timeframe to view your data:

- **Last 30 Days**
- **MTD (Month to Date)**
- **YTD (Year to Date)**
- **Last 12 Months**

This filter updates all charts and tables on the page.

### 2. Alerts

The alerts bar at the top highlights unusual activity that may need review:

- **Wrong Product** – Transactions where the purchased fuel type does not match the vehicle’s requirements.
- **Zero Odometer** – Missing or invalid odometer entries.
- **Misc. Product** – Non-fuel purchases made on fuel cards.
- **Misc. (Non-Fuel) Spend** – Total value of non-fuel items.
- **Non-Regular Fuel** – Spend on premium or alternate fuel grades.

### 3. Top 10 Fuel Retailers

Displays the vendors where most of your fuel card spend occurs.

- **%** shows share of overall spend.
- **Dollar amount** shows total spent with that vendor.

Use this section to monitor preferred vendor compliance and potential cost savings.

### 4. Fuel Card Stats

Quick stats summarizing your fuel card activity:

- **Dollars Spent** – Total spend in the selected timeframe.
- **Transactions** – Number of transactions made.
- **Gallons** – Total gallons purchased.
- **Average Transaction Amount** – Spend per transaction.

### 5. Total Gallons Dispensed

Breakdown of all products purchased:

- **Unleaded** (majority of spend)
- **Diesel**
- **Misc. Products**
- **Dyed Diesel, Ethanol, Electricity**

This section highlights fuel type usage across your fleet.

### 6. Total Fuel Spend Graph

A line chart showing daily spend trends over the selected timeframe.

- Use peaks and valleys to identify unusual spending patterns.
- Compare against operational events (e.g., seasonal demand, route changes).

### 7. Department-Level Spend

Detailed breakdown of spend by department:

- **Spend** – Total dollars spent.
- **Gallons** – Fuel volume purchased.
- **% of Total** – Department’s share of total spend.

This helps you allocate costs by department and track fuel efficiency.

- **Monitor alerts daily** to catch misuse or errors early.
- **Review top vendors** to ensure compliance with negotiated fuel programs.
- **Analyze spend trends** to identify opportunities for cost savings.
