# Purchase Order Manager

The Purchase Order Manager provides a comprehensive view of all your purchase orders, so you can effectively manage any purchase orders you have. The following provides a quick glimpse at the manager screen.

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find a quick overview of your Purchase Orders, including:

- **Open:** Number of currently open purchase orders
- **Received - Partial:** Purchase orders that have been partially received
- **Received - Full:** Purchase orders that have been received in full
- **Paid - Closed:** Purchase orders that have been paid and closed

Each metric has a **View** button that takes you to a detailed view of what was included in your purchase order that you can also edit. The following image shows the view screen:

## Create Purchase Order

To create a purchase order, you will enter the purchase order details and items as follows:

Enter the following purchase order details:

- PO Number
- Description
- Warehouse: The warehouse you select will determine the shipping address for the dispatch. If you want to receive parts into multiple warehouses, you can specify a warehouse for each individual part in the purchase order item entry tool.
- Vendor: The vendor you select will determine the return address that will go out on your dispatch. Please ensure you have selected the correct vendor to prevent any mishaps in the dispatching process.
- Status: Statuses help you to track the progress of a purchase order from start to finish. Please select a status that accurately describes the current state of your purchase order. You will be able to manage all active purchase orders on the Purchase Order Manager.

Enter the following Purchase Order Items:

- Part: Please select the part that you would like to include on this purchase order. If you are not seeing a part, please ensure it has been properly added and assigned to a warehouse. You can check this by searching for that part on the Part Manager.
- Warehouse: The warehouse you select will determine the shipping address for the dispatch. If you want to receive parts into multiple warehouses, you can specify a warehouse for each individual part in the purchase order item entry tool.
- Quantity Ordered
- Ordered Price
- Quantity Received
- Received Price
- Received Date
