# Vendor Manager

My fleet vendors page will display your fleet vendors that you have connected to EKOS. In the top left-hand corner of the page, you will see your connected vendors, and the total connected vendors in the EKOS service network. To the top right of the page there is a vendor map showing you all vendors in the EKOS network.

Users can create vendors in EKOS if the vendor is not already in EKOS. There might be independent, local, or regional vendors that you are currently using, and you want to add them to your EKOSystem. To connect vendors to EKOS do the following:

- Go to the EKOS service network page and view a vendor from the grid (click on the magnifying glass to view a vendor). This will take you to the vendors profile page
- Click the link to connect with the vendor. Once you complete this simple step, the vendor will now show up on your “My Vendors” page

The EKOS team constantly review new and prospective vendors, and we can work with you to add the vendor to our service network. After you connect with a vendor, EKOS now provides you a page that shows you which vendors you have connected with. Grow your service vendor portfolio with EKOS!

A vendor list will populate at the bottom of the page with your vendor list for your convenience.

## Create Vendor

Setting up a Vendor will allow EKOS to add the vendor to dropdown boxes and make data entry faster and more standardized for you. Having all of your vendors for fuel and fleet management in one place is very helpful. For example, if you are setting up a service vendor that provides fuel site compliance inspections…select the compliance category and EKOS will then add that vendor to all your drop downs in the Site Compliance feature. 

### *STEP 1*

Enter the following vendor details:

- Vendor Name
- Description
- Select Vendor Categories: Choosing the service categories that a vendor provides allows EKOS to streamline work for you later on by defaulting your dropdown selection to include vendors from specific categories.

If the vendor you are creating has a Parent Company, make sure you enter the parent company name in the field provided. For example, many service offices are regional and are part of a larger organization. The value of keying the parent into EKOS is that you can search, track, and report all activity associated with the parent entity. The EKOS team will also help identify parent organizations once you key in the vendor since we are always monitoring the EKOS service network.

Enter option vendor details

### *STEP 3*

Choose Address associated with this vendor. EKOS also allows you to do a GPS search to find the address of a vendor if that is easier.

### *STEP 4*

Enter the contact information for the Vendor by adding in the contact title, first and last name, and email.

## EKOS Fleet Vendor Network

The EKOS service network is a comprehensive collection of service vendors in the fuel industry and highlights vendors that specialize in service commercial, industrial, and municipal private sites. Users now have all their vendors for Fuel and Fleet management in one place. EKOS groups the service offerings of vendors for you so it is easy to distinguish between vendors that only perform Service and Repair vs. vendors that only manufacture or sell equipment vs. vendors that provide services across multiple categories. Users can compare pricing between vendors in the EKOS service network to save money. 

Help EKOS – EKOS is trying to build the largest vendor network for fleet service and repair. Help us by creating all your vendors in EKOS or send our team a list and we will enter them in for you. Search the EKOS service network for vendors in your area and connect with the vendor in EKOS.

- Cross platform: Vendors can be setup in EKOS to provide services in multiple modules and features. There are times when a vendor for fuel sites will provide fleet related services as well
- Order / Dispatch: EKOS allows users to order fuel and send the dispatch to a fuel supplier, and it also allows users to create service orders for fleet, fuel, and dispatch repair requests to vendors
