This will allow you to easily edit and update key information related to your vehicles. --- ## Add Vehicle To add a vehicle, click Add Vehicle in the top right corner of this grid. Then you will follow the step by step process to get your vehicle created. Here is a high level overview of those steps: 1. Required information > ⚠️ All of the fields in step one are REQUIRED. The Asset # and description fields are two key ways to identify and search for a vehicle. Asset # should be a unique value for each vehicle 2. Vehicle Identification Details > ℹ️ When you select a year and make, EKOS will display a list of all NHTSA models associated with that year and make. If your make or model is not appearing in the dropdown, you can add them by clicking the plus button to bring up the quick create panel 3. Vehicle Specifications 4. Engine and Transmission Details 5. Wheels and Tires Details 6. Vehicle Service Information 7. Vehicle Lifecycle Cost Information 8. Vehicle Config Click Create & Add Another, or if you are finished just click Create Vehicle --- ## Vehicle View Page View key information about your vehicles from the vehicle view page. By clicking the view button to the left of the grid next to any of your vehicles you will see a screen similar to the one below: ![image](media://fdc8ff55-9887-4992-b9cd-8f64790292f4) This dashboard provides a snapshot of electric vehicle (EV) energy usage and related costs. Use this view to monitor charging activity, track cost trends, and better understand total ownership expenses. You can also view key vehicle information such as your lifecycle, specifications, any vehicle records including transactions and meter history. View all maintenance including work orders, inspections, PM programs, and reminders associated with your vehicle. Easily attach files and photos. --- **Vehicle Information** At the top, you’ll find key details about the selected vehicle: - **Vehicle ID & Model**: Identifies the vehicle in your fleet. - **Year**: Manufacturing year of the vehicle. - **VIN**: Vehicle Identification Number. - **Status**: Indicates whether the vehicle is currently active or inactive. --- **Lifetime Usage** This section summarizes total usage metrics: - **Miles Driven**: Displays the cumulative mileage recorded. - **Years in Service**: Tracks how long the vehicle has been monitored in the system. --- **Cost Summary** Provides a breakdown of energy-related expenses: | Field | Description | | --- | --- | | **Charging Sessions** | Total number of charging events logged. | | **kWh Used** | Total electricity consumed across all sessions. | | **Energy Cost** | Cost attributed to the energy consumed (based on rates). | | **Idle Time Cost** | Charges incurred for remaining connected after full charge. | | **Cost Per Mile** | Average cost based on miles driven (may show $0 if mileage is not entered). | | **Total Cost** | Combined cost of energy and idle time usage. | **Cost of Ownership Chart** Visualizes how costs accumulate over time. Use the timeline filter to switch between: - **30 Days**, **Month-to-Date**, **12 Months**, **Year-to-Date**, or **All Time** Each bar in the chart represents the total cost for that time period. Easily view the Name, color, icon, description and activity status.
