Users now have all their vendors for Fuel and Fleet management in one place. EKOS groups the service offerings of vendors for you so it is easy to distinguish between vendors that only perform Service and Repair vs. vendors that only manufacture or sell equipment vs. vendors that provide services across multiple categories. Users can compare pricing between vendors in the EKOS service network to save money. Inside the EKOS service network, you can see vendor stats, the number of your connected vendors and total vendors, a vendor map, and a list of vendors near you. To view a specific vendor, click on the magnifying glass icon in the right column under the vendor list section. This will provide an overview and details about that specific vendor for your convenience. ![image](media://76de6b4d-cee3-42e1-8503-4bb30703a284) --- ## Create a Vendor Setting up a Vendor will allow EKOS to add the vendor to dropdown boxes and make data entry faster and more standardized for you. EKOS is trying to build the largest vendor network for fuel site service and repair. Help us by creating your vendors in EKOS or send our team a list and we will enter them in for you. Value points: Having all your vendors for fuel and fleet management in one place is very helpful. - Cross platform: Vendors can be setup in EKOS to provide services in multiple modules and features. There are times when a vendor for fuel sites will provide fleet related services as well - Order / Dispatch: EKOS allows users to order fuel and send the dispatch to a fuel supplier, and it also allows users to create service orders for fleet, fuel, and dispatch repair requests to vendors Click on the Create Vendor button in the top right-hand corner of the EKOS Service Network and follow the following steps: ### *STEP 1:* Enter Vendor Details - Legal Name - Dba Name - Parent Company - Year Incorporated - Website - Num Employees - Description Select all categories from the following list that applies to this vendor: - Manufacturer - Communication - Equipment / Parts - Service / Repair - Processors & Hosting - Compliance EKOS, by default will automatically add this vendor to your service and repair features. However, you can choose additional services for this vendor and the vendor will show up in other modules and features in EKOS. You can uncheck Service / Repair to override the default setting from EKOS. ### *STEP 2*: Address (Choose the type of address associated with this vendor) - Address Type: From the dropdown menu, select one of the following – Department, Site, Supplier, Shipping, Customer, Vendor, Billing, Landing, Garage, Service Area, Parking Location, Refueling Location, Sales Office, Headquarters, Service Branch, Equipment, Warehouse - Then fill in the address associated with this vendor, or search in the GPS to enter the correlating address ### *STEP 3*: Enter contact information for the Vendor Hit the create button at the bottom left of the page and this vendor will now appear in the EKOS Service Network. --- ## Create / Connect a Vendor and Grow Your Service Vendor Portfolio Users can create vendors in EKOS if the vendor is not already in EKOS. There might be independent, local, or regional vendors that you are currently using, and you want to add them to your EKOSystem. - The EKOS team constantly reviews new and prospective vendors, and we can work with you to add the vendor to our service network. - After you connect with a vendor, EKOS now provides you a page that shows you which vendors you have connected with. Grow your service vendor portfolio with EKOS! --- ## How to Create a Vendor ### *STEP 1 * Go to the EKOS service network page and view a vendor from the grid (click on the connect button to connect a vendor). This will take you to the vendors profile page. ### *STEP 2 * Click the link to connect with the vendor. Once you complete this simple step, the vendor will now show up on your “My Vendors” page The more service vendors you have the more you can get price competition involved to help you save money. Find someone in your area and try to connect with vendors.
