This guide explains each section of the dashboard to help you monitor fuel usage, track spending, and address potential issues efficiently. ![image](media://724a3d43-427c-4c95-bccb-7ba4cc2b7b4e) --- **Total Fuel Spend** Located at the top left, this section shows your total fuel spending across various timeframes: - Last 30 Days - Month-to-Date (MTD) - Year-to-Date (YTD) - Last 12 Months The line graph provides a visual overview of spending trends over time. --- **Total Gallons Dispensed** This section breaks down the total fuel dispensed by product type: - Diesel - Unleaded - Premium Each category includes the total gallons and its percentage of overall usage. --- **Transactions Needing Attention** This panel highlights transactions that require review, such as: - High gallon usage - Unusual fueling times Each entry includes the site name, reason for the alert, and timestamp. Use the "View Details" link to investigate further. --- **Top Sites by Fuel Usage** View your top fuel-consuming locations by total gallons and cost. Each site listing includes: - Gallons dispensed - Total spend - Percentage of overall usage This is useful for identifying high-usage areas and evaluating site performance. --- **Department-Level Spend** This section breaks down fuel spend and usage by department. Each row shows: - Department name - Total spend - Gallons used - Percentage of total gallons dispensed Use this to monitor department-level consumption and ensure efficient fuel allocation. --- **Spend by Product Type** The stacked area chart shows how spending is distributed across Diesel, Unleaded, and Miscellaneous fuel types over time. This helps track changes in product usage and budgeting. --- **Fueling Activity by Hour** This bar chart shows hourly fueling patterns to help you understand peak activity periods. --- ## Transaction Manager / Onsite Transactions View all onsite transactions from this transaction manager. Filter this grid by date and view all total gallons, dollars, onsite gallons and onsite dollars. Easily edit any transactions by clicking the edit button on the left of each transaction. ![image](media://235c67df-e882-45a4-9982-1e7c503cd493) --- ## Create Manual Transaction Create a Manual Transaction by entering the following details: ![image](media://18b57738-456e-4685-86a3-546dc82d1c17) --- ## Clipboard Grid There are several reasons why a customer may need to hand key transactions into EKOS, whether their fuel station is down for repair and transactions are being tracked via clipboard or the customer simply runs a manual fuel site. If you need to manually enter a transaction into EKOS, click on the Create Manual Transaction button located on this grid. Once you are on the create page, you will fill out the following: - Site - Where the vehicle was fueled at - Date - Time of the transaction - Vehicle # - This will help you find the vehicle name if your fleet reuses names - Auth ID - Can also help you find the vehicle name if names are reused - Odometer - If applicable - Engine Hours - If applicable - Driver ID - Only applicable if you use drivers in EKOS - Driver Name - Only applicable if you use drivers in EKOS - Tank - The tank the fuel came from. The inventory level of the tank is not determined by this selection - Pump - The pump fueled at - Nozzle - Nozzle at the pump - Quantity - The number of gallons pumped - Rate - The unit price the fuel was purchased for - Total Amount - This is auto calculated when the quantity and rate are filled out Manual transactions allow your sites to record all fuel dispensed from your site’s tank. It is important to record all transactions, whether it is a manual site or a controlled site that has a temporary equipment issue, so you can track every drop of fuel. Posted Manual Transactions are included in the gallon and dollar totals throughout EKOS - charts, graphs, statistics and exports where applicable. The Clipboard allows all fuel dispensed from a site to be recorded. It is important to record all transactions so you can track every drop of fuel, whether the site is manual or is a controlled site with a temporary equipment issue. --- ## Transaction Map The trans map grid shows a list of all fuel sites by product, this can be filtered for a specific product, or you can view all products. To view more detailed information on the transactions at a specific site, click on a numbered site and then click on transactions.
