This will ensure that your monthly fuel totals are accurate for budgeting and monthly reporting. Using the fuel price dashboard, the user can quickly see the prices set for a site by product. If a fuel site does not a set fuel price or the fuel price is not kept up to date, then your monthly exports and reports for onsite may not accurately report your fuel expenses at that site. Check the dashboard regularly to ensure that prices are set for all your products.   ![image](media://fea91a4c-3a3e-463f-88a3-731ac6673510) --- ## Calendar View The calendar view presents prices that have been set for a single product at a selected site. To get to the calendar, you can select the site from the dashboard.  ![image](media://872a4856-eecf-47a8-bfcc-703554d6e9a4) --- ## Setting Prices To create a new price, select the set price button in the upper right hand corner of this page and fill out the following information: ![image](media://9c07aa8c-933a-4a4b-b1f2-0cd1755db965) Once you click create you will receive a notification window providing you with the total number of prices and the total number of transactions that will be affected by completing the create process. To accept - click OK, to decline and adjust your price parameters - click Cancel. *End Date*** **- the end date can be left blank. If the end date is left blank, the price you set will continue through the calendar until you set another price for the same product. This makes it easy to have the price per gallon set until you receive a new bulk fuel delivery. Setting a new price will automatically end the previously set price for that product. --- ## Update Pricing To update or deactivate a price, simply locate the price in the calendar and click the price bar. This will provide a popup form that allows you to change the pricing information and choose update or deactivate. *Note:* Transactions are affected by price. Setting a price or updating a price will result in the Total Dollars being calculated for each onsite transaction within the specified date range for the product at the selected site. When updating or deactivating an existing price you will receive a notification window providing you with the total number of prices and the total number of transactions that will be affected by completing the update or deactivation process. To accept - click OK, to decline and adjust your price parameters - click Cancel. Prices can be set at any time. It is recommended to keep prices up to date since creating prices and updating prices affects transactions. Users may download transactional data or review fuel totals without realizing there may be unpriced transactions.    --- ## Fuel Prices It is important to set a fuel price for all products at each site. EKOS developed the Site Price app to easily set and maintain prices in the software rather than painfully dialing each card reader after each delivery to update pricing. --- ## Notification Window Once you click create you will receive a notification window providing you with the total number of prices and the total number of transactions that will be affected by completing the create process. This make it easy to have the price per gallon set until you receive a new bulk fuel delivery. *Setting a new price will automatically end the previously set price for that product** --- ## Unpriced Transaction Report EKOS created an audit report so you can review if any site products have transactions without pricing. Navigate to the Fuel Site Reports App to view this report.  --- ## Set Prices At Pump EKOS allows customers to set “real time” prices at their Gasboy pumps. Easily schedule future price changes so you can ‘set it and forget it’. EKOS also provides a simple management screen to see current prices at all sites. User pump pricing for real-time receipt printing for customers fueling at your site. EKOS support desk can enable the price pumping feature for your account, it will apply to all your sites.  ### *STEP 1* Choose your product, price, and effective date to send to the pump. Select your product (EKOS only displays products from your Gasboy that have been mapped to EKOS products in your tanks). If you select “update price now” then EKOS will send the price on the next sync interval with your pedestal. This could be up to one hour if you are using a cellular modem. Please keep this in mind when setting prices. You can choose a future date and time for the price to go into effect: - Example: On Friday afternoon you set the new price to go into effect at 6:00 AM Monday morning - Important: If using the Pump Pricing feature, you will not be able to set a historical price. - Example: On 11/30/2021, you would not be able to set a price with an effective date of 11/27/21 and have those transactions be updated accordingly. The pump pricing feature must be used in real-time. If you are using the price per gallon for reporting or to bill out other agencies / departments, then it is important to keep your prices up to date for the most accurate reporting. Then click continue. ### *STEP 2* Choose the sites that you want EKOS to send this price to. Below is a list of your sites that have the product selected in step 1. You can select one or many sites to get the new price by checking the box next to the site name. EKOS will send the price to that site after you click SAVE. NOTE: All price updates are subject to the sync interval that you setup with your communication method. For example, if you are using cellular and you setup a site to sync from EKOS to the pedestal once every hour, then the prices will be sent the next time that the unit syncs. Click the save and send prices button to complete the price change. --- ## Create Price List EKOS now has the ability to create and manage fueling discounts. Discounts are easily applied to one or many auth devices, and the rates can quickly be updated as your contracts with customers change, discounts can be applied at the time of fueling for accurate receipt printing. The EKOS price list tool allows you to assign pricing discounts to fleets, departments, and assets. ### *STEP 1* Enter a name and general details about the price. Make sure you name the Price List descriptively so you can tell which price list it is when accessing it from a dropdown box. The Status is active by default because if the price list is not active then EKOS will not calculate the pricing discounts associated with this price list. If you select "Send Prices to Pump" then EKOS will send the price list to the pump so when assets are fueling the correct discount will be applied at the time of fueling and correctly show on the receipt. ### *STEP 2* Choose a product and apply the discount. You can attach one or more products to a price list. The discount types are the following: - Absolute discount price Absolute Discount Price: dollar figure 0.10 (Ex. ten cents off) - Percentage Discount: as a whole number (Ex. 5 will be %5 off) - Fix Price to Use: will be a dollar figure set setting the price ($2.00) As you add in a line-item discount you will be able to select and see products and associated discounts before creating your price list.
